ClassMarker

Overview
ClassMarker is a great tool that creates and marks online tests. Tests can be taken directly on ClassMarker website, or you can embed tests into your website through the external testing section. There are many features with this product including the teacher being able to see the results for all the people who have taken the test, the test automatically marking and if you pay for the extra features for the class based tool you can have results emailed to you, statistics for the test, the average score of the user, plus lots more. Strength
Once the test is set up it takes little administration, all students can have access to it and can complete the test at home or where they feel most comfortable. Paying the little extra for the additional features is definitely worth considering with teachers being emailed the results and being able to use the statistics. The tests have free features including anti-cheating and the ability to add pictures.

Weakness
Creating a test that is embedded into a website can be created for free but the results are not shown to the teacher, and it would cost considerably more to have the tests embedded. As with any test care needs to be taken to ensure that the questions are worded appropriately to gain the response needed.

Opportunity
This testing can be used for assessment or unmarked practice exams. Teachers could use for mini tests during the term or for final exams.

Threat
Online quizzes are more susceptible to cheating. An example of opportunities for cheating include students meeting at friends houses and completing the test together.

Compatibility to learning styles
Compatible to most styles with the ability to include pictures and being able to complete at any time.

Meaning to me
I feel that although this could be highly beneficial it should also be used with caution due the possibility of cheating. I would use this as a method for practice exams, to test a students knowledge before starting a subject for profiling, or as a test that they have to complete supervised in class.
